Pac-Man Fever!

With it being the 30th anniversary for Pac-man, it seems like Namco has done a great job to spread Pac-man fever. Besides the little hype around the new Pac-man arcade game Pac-Man Battle Royale, Namco has done a few things online to help spread the love of Pac-Man. First, are the changes on the Pac-Man Website. This site has a ton of information, history, and facts on Pac-Man. The site also includes a series of interviews with the creator of Pac-Man, Toru Iwatani. Namco is also running some promo's which include winning a Pac-Man themed smart car, sales on Pac-Man merchandise, and the promise of more events to come.

Now what would Pac-Man be without games? Namco has this covered with some free games on the Pac-Man site...and on Google. That's right, if you go to google.com, you will notice that they changed their logo to a Pac-Man game board. Click the "insert coin" button and you will begin playing Pac-Man! Google usually does themed logo changes, but I believe this is their first interactive logo. You can also get to this game from the Pac-Man website. The Pac-Man website also has an online party Pac-Man game, and some mobile games for download.

We will have a new video up Sunday night/Monday afternoon as well as a new "2600 Arcade Venture" post about my attempt to open up an arcade. I am currently waiting to see if my offer on a building will accepted.
