Here Comes a New Challanger?!

Big stuff has been going around the internets as of late about the location test for the arcade version of Super Street Fighter IV. While it was no surprise that Capcom was going to be re-balancing the game for it's arcade release, the rumor was there might be new added characters. Today a poster was scanned from an arcade in Japan with "HERE COMES NEW CHALLENGERS?" in the corner. This is building up to rumors from people saying not only is Capcom re-balancing the game for the arcade release, but also might be adding in new characters. The location test will be taking place this Saturday at three arcades in Japan. I'll keep you up to date on the latest news if there's any new characters playable at the location tests.

There's also been big rumors about the next game from Capcom producer Ono-San. At the past Evolution tournament in Vegas Ono came out on stage with the producer of Tekken 6. They joked around why his announcement wasn't being shown at Evo, but in two weeks time at Comic Con in San Diego. Now the rumors have been going around that both companies will work on new Vs. Series with their flagship characters. So Capcom Vs Namco will be made by Capcom and might run on the same hardware as Street Fighter IV and Namco vs. Capcom will be made from Namco running on the same engine as Tekken. Just like the deal was with SNK a couple of years ago. As the arcade announcement this is also a rumor, so we'll find out this weekend what the two companies plans will be.

Speaking of Comic-Con Capcom has also announced four new characters for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. While this doesn't sound like it's going to be released in arcades, I am looking forward to playing this when it comes out next year. Here's the trailer from Capcom Europe's Youtube Channel.
