Sony Starting to Step Up the Arcade Ports with "Arcade Hits"

This past October, Sony has decided to serve up a little arcade love on the PS3. Besides some of the typical Midway ports, or the announcement of yet another console to offer Neo Geo games (both being offered by PS3, and yes I am excited for Neo Geo ports on the PS1, but again we get them on the Wii, a few on the 360...) Sony has started releasing some classic Japanese arcade ports on the PS3. Well, not Sony so much as MonkeyPaw Games. MonkeyPaw Games has begun releasing games from the PS1 Collection "Arcade Hits." These are PS1 Japanese ports that originally came out in the 90's. So far the three games in the PS1 Arcade Hits collection that have been released are Shienryu ( a Raiden style shmup), Sonic Fighters Special ( a true classic shmup), and Outlaws of the Lost Dyanasty (a Data Easit fighter). We hope to have some written and video reviews for each of these games over the next month so keep on checking back! For more information on the games be sure to check out www.MonkeyPawGames.com. To get to the "Arcade Hits" go to the Playstation Store, then PSone classics, and finally PSone Japanese.
