Two-Bits Retro Arcade Grand Opening

This past weekend saw the opening of a new Arcade/Bar Hybrid in New York City called Two Bits Retro Arcade. A few months ago my friend Sid put out a short video on his YouTube channel (OldSchoolNYCGamer) where he found the place's logo with "opening soon". After a few months of not hearing anything they finally had their grand opening this weekend.

Inside you'll find over 25 games that range from classics like Donkey Kong and Popeye, racing games like Hydro Thunder, lightgun games like Police Trainer and something that other bar arcades sorely lack, pinball! All the games run on quarters and even though the place is called "Two Bits" most of the games are only one quarter to play. They've also got a list of beers, wines and even sake to drink while you game.

It's great to see more places like this take a chance with the bar and arcade hybrid. If you'd like to see more video that I shot from my iPhone, hit the jump!

Thanks for checking out the videos, and be sure to check out the new Two-Bits Retro Arcade on 153 Essex Street in New York City! (Also, big shout out to Megan and everybody over at BrightestYoungThings.com!)
