Wizard of Oz Pinball Gameplay (Dec 2012)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays one and all. While I'm fighting off a bout of food poisoning, I found the time to upload the last video I took at the Jersey Jack factory. This time it's a look at the most current code of the game. The game still isn't there yet, but there's been a few things added in since I last played it at the New York Comic Con. Here's a rundown of what's new.

  • The game now has a "Game Over" Screen.
  • The mini Crystal Ball display. Right now it cycles through videos like the Jersey Jack logo and some other random videos.
  • Shooting targets and getting the ball into the hole spell out WIZARD.
  • Shooting the ball up the main ramp when you don't have a character's name spelled out now has "Advance" with a number. It refers to the Yellow Brick Road, but no idea what it does yet.
  • The Witches Castle mini playfield has new music when the ball is in the area and the screen also will display the castle on the LCD screen.
  • Some new sound effects and voice samples were added in.
They've still got a ways to go before the game is released in two months. They want to make sure they've got a good code before they send the game out not even half finished.

Hope you enjoyed this new look at The Wizard of Oz and be sure to check back in for the rest of my videos from Vegas and tons of new pinball gameplay videos!
