FunkO's PAC-MAN Breakfast Cereal!

I know this review is a day late and a dollar short (actually, a whole year late), but I figured with New Year’s resolutions and the price of a box of FunkO's PAC-MAN Breakfast Cereal creeping towards the triple digits, it was time to get it done.

I love the design of the cereal box. It manages to capture that Funko Pop! charm while mixing in some retro cereal flair! Including a maze on the back along with a message from Freddy Funko is simply the icing on the cake.

Bonus points for placing the prize UNDER the bag of cereal. The prize is a neat mini PAC-MAN Pop! figure. While PAC-MAN may not be the first mini Pop! figure, he certainly isn't the last. He joins the ranks of Elvira, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Beetlejuice, and many other iconic characters shrunk down to mini Pop! size.

If you have had any of the other Funko cereals, you have had this one. The FunkO's are OK; a little too sweet with a touch of stale. It is clear that the cereal is not the selling point here, it's the prize and license. Hasn't that always been the selling point of most cereals?

PAC-MAN makes a perfect breakfast buddy!
I picked up my box of FunkO's PAC-MAN Breakfast Cereal for $13.99 a year ago. Currently the price fluctuates between $24.99 and $49.99 over on eBay. While the price might be high, the tiny PAC-MAN Pop! figure is pretty hard to resist. He is the perfect size for "take your toy to work" day.

So if you are a fan of Funko's Pop! figure line and PAC-MAN, this cereal might be for you. The thrill of opening a box of cereal for a decent prize is a thrill I wish I could have every day.
