Sarge's Midweek Update

Sarge here with your midweek update.

After a brief hiatus due to work and a well overdue vacation, lets recap some of the things that have happened within the past few weeks.

Arcade Infinity over in Rowland Heights, California will be closing its doors on February 26th. For more information, please see the previous post below.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is finally out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as of yesterday. For those picking up the special edition versions, Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath will be downloadable on March 15th. DLC to be available on March 1st as well.

For you Tron/Tron Legacy fans, the current release date for the Blu-ray and DVD of Tron Legacy has been set for April 5th. Amazon.com is currently taking pre orders. This offering from Walt Disney Pictures now offers its fans a couple of versions of the films.

-Tron: Legacy Limited Edition (Five-Disc Combo Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray / DVD / Digital Copy + Tron: The Original Classic Special Edition Blu-ray)

-Tron: Legacy (Five-Disc Combo Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray / DVD / Digital Copy + Tron: The Original Classic Special Edition Blu-ray)

-Tron: Legacy (Four-Disc Combo: Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray / DVD / Digital Copy)

-Tron: Legacy (Two-Disc BD Blu-ray/DVD Combo)

And for those wanting to keep it old school:

-Tron: The Original Classic (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo)

Since I vacationed at Disney World in Florida, I had the opportunity to visit DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive again. Surprisingly, the machines are kept up and were very much in decent shape considering the amount of traffic that goes in there. Both Tron machines worked well and the Discs of Tron machine also played very nicely. While playing the classics, I got a chance to see the Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 machine getting its fair share of play along with the Tekken 5 machines on location. It was great to hear "I got next" and the crowds forming behind the machines. Looking back on the trip, it was great to see almost all machines being used extensively.

Sarge out!
