A Tribute to a Pinball Legend

This week the pinball world lost a legend. Steve Kordek has passed away at the age of 100. Steve has worked in the pinball industry for over 50 years, designed over 100 different machines and was the man responsible for the way all pinball machines look like today. When flippers came out many machines would have two or three pairs of flippers to keep the ball in play. So in 1949 Steve though why not two flippers on the bottom and juice the power on them to get the ball to go through the whole table? His game Triple Action changed the way pinball was played and now every game has the classic two flipper set up.

Here's to a legend! R.I.P Steve!
