Pintastic Pinball Game Room Expo Thursday Recap!

Thursday night of Pintastic was a blast. It's great to get to the show early and try some of the new games before the crowds show up. For me (2600), the showstopper is Portal Extended. Multimorphic has hit another home run with Portal. I was shocked at how much I liked the game, especially in comparison to Spooky Pinball's Evil Dead game. 

Personally, I did not find the Evil Dead game enjoyable. I love the artwork, the sound clips, the movie clips, the toys, everything except the game play. I also had a rather odd experience playing the game with someone who claimed that he came up with the layout for Evil Dead, he has upset that Spooky scrapped the light gun shot gun attachment/mode that was included in his original layout, and that he played the "white wood" version. All this while a railroad spike was half hanging out of his pocket. The scenario made for a rather surreal experience while playing the Evil Dead game for the first time.
