Here is an interview we did at Richie Knucklez with Dave who runs the sites Aurcade.com and Tron-Sector.com. Dave is the one who set up the awesome database at Funspot's last classic video game tournament that featured live score updates.

Here's an audio interview I did with Capcom's Seth Killian at the Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom launch party at Nintendo World in New York City. My camera has really poor recording audio, so I used my old digital voice recorder, so I hope it sounds alright.

In the interview I talk to Seth about working at Capcom, TvC, Capcom's classic Beat em' Ups and of course, Super Street Fighter IV. I'd like to thank Seth for his time and for Capcom for hosting this awesome event. Thanks much for the poster!

An Interview with Captain Kirk, owner of Castle Video!

Here is a great interview that got lost during one of my many full pc meltdowns causing me to lose EVERYTHING. Captain Kirk runs one of (if not the) best Pinball Arcade/Bookstore/Video Rental/Storage/etc. Yeah, he has everything, including one of the best Pinball Arcades EVER. Check out the interview and you can see his love and dedication to Pinball.

Nick and I have been going through (mainly based on memory) all the stuff we shot that has not yet been uploaded. I've been going through all of the old miniDV tapes to upload the stuff and finish up some of the undone video's. We have a busy schedule for Arcade Hunters this week as we prepare to upload a new ARCADE HUNTERS EPISODE! the new episode will be hitting the net this Friday. We have for Wednesday, the first episode of our podcast "Gabbin' with Arcade Hunters" scheduled to be uploaded. We don't have a podcast hosting site just yet, but we will be uploading the cast to Blip and posting it here on Wednesday. So check back and get ready for an all new episode come this Friday!

An Interview with The Beast

You know, when I signed up for Twitter, I didn't expect much. Mostly people saying what they did a few minutes ago and crap like that. Nothing really cool. But I signed up for the Capcom Unity Twitter account and I saw a really kick ass interview the guys over at Eurogamer did with Diago Umehara, AKA The Beast. It's really cool getting to get the inside story of the greatest Street Fighter player to walk planet earth. He even goes into a lot of how he started and differences between Japanese arcades and American arcades. Not to mention how the whole Japanese arcade crowd is pretty pissed off at Capcom for not releasing Super Street Fighter IV in arcades.

Now if you haven't been checking out our blog over on That Guy With The Glasses, or our Twitter posts, I'll let everybody know here now. Next week there will be a new episode of Arcade Hunters! It's been a long time and two computer crashes, but new stuff is slowly on the way! Not to mention tons of pinball reviews.

Speaking of pinball, Stern Pinball has just gotten in a new investor. It was reported on Arcade Heroes as well as Pinball News about this announcement, and you can read more about it on the links provided on the right. What's this mean for the future of pinball? New games NOT based off TV shows or movies? LCD score displays? Who knows what the future holds. Stern has also started a new YouTube channel and they've favorited the one factory tour I found years ago and they've added promo videos of Batman, Spider-Man, CSI and NBA. What's cool is our videos pop up on related, so hopefully more people will check em' out.

2600 might have a special Saturday update, so keep your eyes peeled. He also might be coming around my place this weekend and if we have time we might test the Livestream account out, so check back here on Saturday for the latest.

Another Interview!!!

Here is an interview we conducted with Walter Day, the founder of Twin Galaxies! Walter is always great to talk to and he has a lot of new directions he wants to take both Twin Galaxies and the site for Twin Galaxies in. This interview was done last May at Funspot in Weirs Beach, NH.

We also have recorded an internet radio show over at Firebrand Radio for the video game themed show "Just Press Start!" We also recorded our first "Gabbin' with Arcade Hunters" (tentative title) podcast. I am currently in the process of editing the podcast and we will have both a link to the podcast and the radio show within the upcoming week. Be sure to check back Wednesday for some more Arcade related happenings!

Interview with Gary Vincent, Curator of The American Classic Arcade Museum

Here is an interview we did with Gary Vincent back in May at Funspot. Gary Vincent is not only the first person to approach the government about establishing an arcade museum where the visitors can play the games on exhibit (think about the last museum you visited. Could you touch the paintings? Sculptures? Dinosaurs?), but he is responsible for setting the standard in what a video game/interactive amusement museum. So check out the interview. We will have more Wednesday with some big Arcade Hunters news and some more news from the Tokyo Game Show that relates to arcades.

George Lucas Helped Kill Pinball?!?

Ok, first we have a new interview with Blaine Locklair, Editorial Supervisor over at Twin Galaxies. Blaine talks with us about some great ideas and the new direction that the Twin Galaxies website is going in. Anyone who frequents the Twin Galaxies website will notice how they are not just keeping track of high scores. The interview was done last May at Funspot.

Next we have some huge announcements this week, the first being a SCHEDULE. Yes, we will be updating 3 times a week. You can check here every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for some Arcade related video's, news, and even possibly some new podcasts and an internet radio show. The other announcement will have to wait until Wednesday.

Finally, I wrote a review for the Pinball documentary Tilt: The Battle to Save Pinball. The documentary is great and concentrates on the creation, success (albeit brief), and demise of Pinball 2000 which ultimately lead to the closing of Williams pinball division, and yes...George Lucas had an inadvertent hand in the demise of Pinball 2000. I myself never cared for Pinball 2000, but have a grown respect for it after watching the documentary. You can read the review over at the Video Game Trader Blog

At the PAPA 12 World Championships of Pinball Tournament we had the chance to speak to Jeri Ellsworth, and here's the interview.

Jeri is a self taught computer chip designer. Jeri created the Commodore 64 inside of a Joystick and is also a big fan of pinball and owns many tables of her own.
